Valley Wine Tour
Nova Scotia boasts some of the finest wineries in Canada. Known for its historic maritime culture, fantastic beaches, the Bay of Fundy’s record tides now add a great wine to that list. The earliest vines in Nova Scotia were planted in around 1610 by Champlain’s hard-working band of settlers. It was and still is great to relax to a glass of wine after a hard day’s work. Today the wine industry in Nova Scotia has grown to become a proud addition to the province’s economy.
We will begin our tour with the narration of the areas of our intended sites. Our first visit will be at the Domaine de Grand Pre Winery, where we will spend about two hours exploring this site. We will spend the day investigating the various vineyards where you can take in the beauty and sample their unique offerings.
This is a day that is spent outdoors so please dress appropriately for this tour. Walking shoes are ideal.
